Happy 31st to me!

My birthday fell on a Saturday this year! But the night before Fi Dan and I went to go see Cinderella. LOVED that movie!
On my birthday we went bowling! They boys had so much fun and they loved it! They weren't too bad! After we went bowling we went to eat at Golden Corral.

Yay! I won!!!!

Later that night Fi Dan, Spencer and I went to eat at Cheesecake Factory, while Nenji and Rylan spend the night at Uncle Max's
It was a great 31st birthday!

My Stinkers

I came home yesterday to my little ones playing outside.
I love seeing them explore...but I am a little scared as to what they may find outside too!

I am just starting to realize how lucky my little family and I are to be living with my parents. Yes, sometimes it hard to live with parents, but it also has its perks...like yummy food!

Another thing I love is watching my kids and my parents interact.

Spencer and Txiv Txiv giving high fives.

Just being silly.

I just love his drawings. :)

Morning Exercise

For years, and years....and some more years I wanted to exercise and be be fit. I wanted to feel good about myself and know that I was being healthy. Sometimes I would be really good and then I would just fall of the wagon completely.
It was until I was Dominica that I really committed. My friend Whitney and I started working out every morning after dropping the kids off at school. I remember feeling so silly going and trying to use the machines. I had no idea what I was doing. But with Whitney's help it was SO much fun. I looked forward to going to the gym every morning. I noticed that I started get a lot stronger and thinner! I LOVED feeling healthy.

When I came back home back in July, I told myself that I would continue. But it was so hard not having an accountability partner. For a week or two I would be really good and workout, and then I would just stop completely.

So again, this new year I made my New Years Resolution...and of course exercise was on the top of my list. I started off alright. I would do HIIT workouts and lift weights, but it wasn't very consistent. Then Sister Jasperson (amazing and inspiring woman) texted me and asked if I wanted to do AM running with her. When I read the text I thought.."Haha, I don't think Sister J. knows that I am SO not a morning person". But she was so great. She eased me into it and I am happy to say that I am starting my 4th week of morning runs!

I actually LOVE running in the morning. And I love learning from this woman. And I tell my husband all the time, Only Sister J could get me out of bed at 5:10!

I am so grateful to have inspiring and motivated women in my life!

Little Home Body

This is my little home body child.
Whenever we go out as a family, he is begging to stay home. Today the family was going out to the store. Nobody was going to be staying home with him and he didn't want to go with us. So he starting crying and complaining.

"Why must I go with you? Just leave me home! I don't want to go!"

Here he was peeping out the window at us.

And here again peeping out at me as I was walking away.

Finally he came out of the house.
And I finally got him to get in the car. LOL.
Oh Ry, never a boring day with you.

So Grown up at 6 years old!

I cannot believe my Nenji is 6 years old!!!!
Where has the time gone! He is such a great little boy...most of the time!
At 6 years old Nenji loves to eat bacon, ride his bike, read chapter books, and play video games!

Finished his first chapter book a few weeks before turning 6 years old!
I was such a bookworm when I was younger. I read so much that I went blind!
I just remember being so into a book that I couldn't put it down. It took me different worlds and I wanted that for my kids too. So I challenged him to read his first chapter book and he did really well! Only took him about 4 days!

Morning of his birthday.Getting ready for school!

The morning after his birthday!
His tooth had been wiggly for weeks!
He finally let Txiv Txiv pull it out!
He was so excited. The tooth fairy gave him $1 for his tooth. :)
