It's been a while

 Ok, so it's been a while since I posted one of these. On this particular morning...I woke up to Rylan crying and yelling in the bathroom. "I will NOT put on my underwear and pants! Somebody DO it for me?!!!! Mommy and Daddy, come put on my pants for me NOW!" This went on for a good 20 minutes. So Fi Dan helped him put on his underwear and then asked Rylan to put on his own pants. Rylan started crying and started to yell, "Someone help me put on my pants!! Mommy, come help ME!" When I told him he needed to do himself he said, "You are a BAD mommy...bad, bad, bad mommy." Oh...Fi Dan and I had such a good laugh. Then I walked in and took a picture of him. He pulled the bathroom rug over his face as soon as I did. He cried for another 10 minutes while we ate breakfast without him. FINALLY, he came out and played around for a bit. Then he saw that we had eaten breakfast without him and started to cry, "No one gave me food! No one saved me food! Where's my food!" LOL, I laughed so hard. I'm just sorry I didn't get a picture of him crying at the kitchen table.

LOL, no worries, he's got his underpants on but not his pants just yet. 

Halloween 2013 in Dominica

So they don't celebrate Halloween here in Dominica, but at the Prep school they have a little parade where the kiddos go around and trick or treat at all of the Departments. Nenji and Rylan had so much. It was CRAZY for me, but I am glad they had fun. :)

October 2013 Kids Fest

Happy belated Halloween! So this post is actually from 2 weeks ago. Every semester the Ross Spouse Organization puts on a kid's fest for the kids! It's great! Last semester we couldn't go because the boys got sick. Thankfully this semester they were all healthy! This semester's theme was Halloween! Here in Dominica they do not celebrate Halloween so it was so hard to find any kind of costumes for them. I even had to go ALL the way to Roseau to find good enough fabric to sew with! I originally wanted to make their costumes out of felt, but the felt was SO expensive (29 EC per yard...$10.00 US per yard). 

Anyway, I found another kind of fabric that worked just fine! The boys were super happy with the outcome and thought I was super cool. :) Nenji was Wolverine and Ry was Iron man. Spencer was Superman and I was Snow White. Fi Dan happen to be in his nice clothes so I said he dressed up as Clark Kent.

My silly little man! I made his costume too. I took one of Rylan's old Superman shirt and cut out the symbol and sewed it onto a onsies. I had extra red fabric from Ry's costume and made a little red cape for Spencey.

Growing up too fast!

My little Spency is growing up TOO fast! I don't know if it's because I know he could possibly be my last baby, but I just want him to stop growing! He JUST learned how to start crawling about 1 week ago and he's doing so well! He crawls with only one knee on the floor and really just scoots. He crawls just like how Rylan did when he was younger. He's also not as naughty as Nenji was but he still has his moments. Here's one of them.

Spencer started standing before he started crawling. A lot of times he'll pull himself up and just stand for a really long time (15 seconds) before he sits down. I just LOVE it when he does that. Such a big boy already!

Even though Fi Dan as the weight of the world on his shoulders, I love it that he still makes time for us! On this Sunday we went and had dinner on campus. Fi Dan is such an awesome hubby and daddy.

So my sister, Kalu, is going to have her 3rd baby girl!!!!!! She made signs for Maddy and Joyce to hold up and took a sweet baby announcement.  When Nenji and Rylan saw they insisted that they needed to take a picture like that. So I wrote what they wanted to say on a piece of paper. I laughed so hard.

Mommy & Baby Yoga

Spencer and I are now doing Yoga! Woo-who! I've always wanted to do yoga, but just never had the time! Now is the perfect time! Nenji and Ry go to school in the mornings and that means I only have one little crazy! Every Thursday we go to the lower seaside deck and get our yoga on! Spencer is a pretty good yoga baby. The other babies are also super cute! I really enjoy it! Even though I don't get a super intense workout, I still love it and feel better after we do it! :)
